Michelle Karabin - Women's Track and Field

Sophomore Michelle Karabin of the Carnegie Mellon University women's track and field team competed at the Great Lakes Final Qualifying Meet hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University on Thursday and tied the school record in the pole vault. The sophomore cleared the bar at 3.77 meters to win the event. She tied the mark of Grace Yee, which was set last season. Karabin's mark tied her for 13th nationally and has landed her a spot at the 2018 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
