Joshua Wang - Men's Golf

Freshman Joshua Wang of the second-ranked Carnegie Mellon University men's golf team helped the Tartans to a second-place finish at the 54-hole Gate City Invitational last week. Playing in his first collegiate stroke play tournament, Wang led the Tartans with a six-under par 210. He opened play with back-to-back rounds of three-under par 69 and then fired a round of even par 72 on the final day. Following a four-way tie for first individually, Wang was declared the individual medalist by way of scorecard playoff in a field of 96 golfers.
