Group X is Going Live!

Carnegie Mellon University Athletics, Physical Education and Recreation is happy to bring you Group X Live beginning Monday, March 30 through Thursday, April 2 from our studio. Join us live at 4:30 p.m. each day! All you need is a positive attitude and a towel!

“We hope live streaming classes will keep our students, faculty and staff motivated to continue to exercise and remain connected to us,” said Sara Gauntner, Carnegie Mellon’s Associate Director of Athletics for Recreational Programs. “While we physically aren’t together during this time, our ambition is that seeing one of our instructors  in our studios will provide that connection to us while giving the community something to look forward to in their daily routines. We hope the live classes will keep everyone going until we are back on campus together.”

Schedule

Monday and Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. - Join Live
Abs, Glutes and Boots Combo with Karen
Duration: 45 minutes

Class Description:
This 45-minute class focuses on sculpting and strengthening your core and glutes, with additional toning of your arms and legs. Get ready to sweat, pump up your heart and have fun as you work out like never before! Each class varies but always combines intervals of cardio drills, including step work, running, kicking, and jumping.  Join us live and come and feel the burn - hurts so good!

 

Tuesday and Thursday at 4:30 p.m. - Join Live
Balance, Strength and Flexibility
Duration: 45 minutes

Class Description:
This class uses bodyweight for a full body exercise experience. The movements are challenging but every fitness level will benefit from each class. This is a low to medium impact class and the instructor offers modifications for any limitations.
