Teams

Teams of distinction may be nominated to the Athletics Hall of Fame and may receive appropriate recognition, for example a picture or plaque, as designated by the Nominating Committee.  Teams of distinction may be inducted into the Athletics Hall of Fame not sooner than five years following the end of the season of distinction which, in the opinion of the Nominating Committee, was sufficiently meritorious.

Administrators, Coaches and Others

Candidates may also include graduates and non-graduates who, through historic service and dedication to CMU, have distinguished themselves in the field of athletics in such capacities as the Nominating Committee finds appropriate and relevant.  Examples may include athletics employees and administrators, athletic trainers, coaches, friends and other members of the CMU Community who have demonstrated extraordinary dedication to the athletics programs.  These other nominees shall be eligible for induction to the Athletics Hall of Fame after 10 years of exemplary service in furtherance of the athletic programs.
