Tartans Win Shortened Capitol Hill Classic; Sudjianto Claims Individual Medalist

The Carnegie Mellon University women's golf team competed in the final round of the Capitol Hill Classic on Tuesday in Prattville, Alabama. Inclement weather forced the final round to nine holes for a total of a 27-hole event. The Tartans carded a team score of six-under par 138 over the final nine holes to win the 27-hole event with a score of 443 (+11).

The Carnegie Mellon University softball team traveled to The University of Mount Union for a doubleheader on Sunday, March 24. The Tartans won the first game, 7-4, and lost the second game, 12-4. The Tartans are now 6-6 for the year while Mount Union moves to 13-2.

The Carnegie Mellon University men's golf team ended the 54-hole Jekyll Island Collegiate Sunday with a final round score of 299. For the second straight year, the Tartans finished second in a field of 30 teams after having a 54-hole score of 875 (297-279-299).

The Carnegie Mellon University men’s swimming and diving team finished competition at the 2024 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships on Saturday, March 23 with another All-American performance by freshman Brayden Morford and placed eighth with 161 team points. The eighth-place finish marks the best finish for the program since 2005 when the team was sixth.
