2017 NCAA DIII Cross Country National Championships


Principia College is serving as the host site for the 2017 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships. The 2017 Women's and Men's Championships will be held Saturday, November 18, 2017, at the Principia College North Farm Cross Country Course at 1 Maybeck Place, Elsah, IL 62028.

MEET SCHEDULE                                                                          

THURSDAY
12 p.m.–5 p.m.—Course open for practice                                                                                                                            
 
FRIDAY
10 a.m.–5 p.m.—Course open for practice
1–2 p.m.—Packet pickup 
2:15–2:45 p.m—Mandatory coaches' meeting in Crafton Center 
6:00 p.m.—Doors open for banquet
6:30 p.m.—Banquet starts 
 
SATURDAY
11 a.m.—Men's 8K Race
12:15 p.m.—Women's 6K Race 
After women’s race—Awards in Crafton Center

Directions: The Principia College North Farm Cross Country Course is located directly across from the entrance to Principia College. Directions to the College from local hotels can be found here.

Tickets/Spectator Parking: All teams, officials, and volunteers park at Crafton Center.  Spectator parking is at Crafton and overflow lots.  Tickets for spectators are $10 per vehicle.

Traffic Pattern: Please note that team vehicles should follow signage to approach Crafton Center from Lockhaven Road—not through Elsah Village. All spectator vehicles will approach through Elsah Village. Note: From the Great River Road (IL-100), team vehicles and spectators are being sent different routes to the course. Spectators will not be allowed in through the team route. On Saturday, Illinois Highway Patrol officers or Jersey County sheriffs will be at both the teams' and spectators' turn-offs from the Great River Road, in addition to posted signage.

No pets (except for service dogs) or bikes are allowed on the Principia College North Farm Cross Country Course.

Food at the Event: Guerilla Street Food Truck will be parked next to the course from 10:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. Check out their website here to see their menu.
