The sophomore later blocked a point after attempt when the Bears opened the second half with a touchdown.

Herrera gave the Tartans the lead for good with an 88-yard kickoff return for a touchdown after the Bears knotted the score at 7-7 in the closing seconds of the first quarter. It marked the Tartans first kickoff return for a score since the 2008 season when Chris Garcia returned a kick 85 yards against Hiram.
