Tartan Football Announces 2022 Incoming Class

(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) – Carnegie Mellon University first-year Head Football Coach Ryan Larsen has announced the Tartans 2022 recruiting class. The Tartans will welcome 36 newcomers that hail from 18 different states.

"First and foremost, I would like to credit the Football Coaching staff for doing such a great job recruiting this class during the transition time of hiring a new head football coach," said Larsen. "The quality, depth, and talent that this class possesses both academically and athletically is a testament to the hard work the staff put into recruiting the 2022 incoming class. We are extremely excited for these young men to join our program and have an impact not only on the field but in the Carnegie Mellon University community as a whole."

The Tartans will open the 2022 season on Friday, September 2, as the Pirates of Whitworth University travel to Pittsburgh. Kick is set for 7:00 p.m. on the turf at Gesling Stadium.
