DuCarme Named UAA Golfer of the Week

(ROCHESTER, N.Y.) - Sophomore Ben DuCarme (McMurray, Pa./Canon-McMillan) was named University Athletic Association (UAA) Golf Athlete of the Week after his performance at the 40th Annual Guy W. Kuhn Invitational, hosted by Allegheny College which concluded Monday September 16.
    
DuCarme helped the Tartans to a first-place team showing out of a field of 16 teams.  The sophomore fired a four-over par 148 (73-75) for the 36-hole event to place tied for second.  The 148 was a career-best two round score for DuCarme.  He currently is second on the team with an average of 74.8 after four rounds this fall.

The Tartans will hit the links again on September 29-30 at the Mercyhurst Invitational being played at Lake View Country Club in Erie, Pennsylvania.
