Bangor Garners UAA Honor

(ROCHESTER, N.Y.) – Senior Ian Bangor (Moon Township, Pa./Sewickley Academy) was named University Athletic Association (UAA) Golf Athlete of the Week following his performance at the Tartans Fall Invitational held at the par-70 Longue Vue Club on Thursday, October 10.

Bangor led the Tartans to a first-place team finish as he was crowned the top individual medalist after carding an even par 70.  The win marked his third straight victory at the invitational and the 10th medalist honor of his career.  

The senior ends fall play with a 73.7 average through seven rounds.
