Low and Qian Lead Men’s Golf at Jekyll Island Collegiate

(JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga.) - The Carnegie Mellon University men's golf team continued play at the second day of the 2015 Jekyll Island Collegiate Saturday, March 14.  The Tartans are currently in tied for 21st after 36-holes of play with a two-round total of 613 (302-311). The three-day event is being played on the 6,711-yard, par-72 Pine Lakes Course on Jekyll Island.
    
Senior Cameron Low (Los Angeles, Calif./Windward) along with sophomore George Qian (Bettendorf, Iowa/Montverde Academy) each turned in rounds of 75 on Saturday.  Qian has a two-round score of 148 which places him in 23rd while Low stands tied for 49th-place with a 151.

Sophomores Jordan Klodowski (Kittanning, Pa.) and Alexander Pomerantz (Warren, N.J./Watchung Hills Regional) have a 36-hole total of 157 (77-80) and 160 (79-81), respectively, while senior Justin Fischler (Avon, Conn.) has a 161 (76-85).

Three individuals for Carnegie Mellon continued play Saturday on the par-72 Oleander Course. Sophomore Brad Jennette (Pittsford, N.Y./Sutherland) has a two-round score of 156 (79-77), freshman Nikhil Mohan (Bangalore, India/Canadian International School) has carded a 159 (80-79) and freshman Adrian Del Bosque (Monterrey, Mexico/IMG Academy) has a 168 (84-84).    

The Tartans will conclude the 54-hole invitational Sunday morning and will be teeing off at 8:00 a.m.
