Tartans are Tied for Third After Day One of Kravetz Invitational

(ROCHESTER, N.Y.) – After the first day of the Fred Kravetz Invitational hosted by the University of Rochester, the Carnegie Mellon University men's golf team is tied for third after 18-holes. The Cardinal and Gray fired a team score of 320, trailing Franklin & Marshall College by four strokes and Roberts Wesleyan College by three. Play began for the 36-hole tournament Friday at the par-72 Irondequoit Country Club with Saturday's round being played at the par-71 Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, New York.

Junior Jordan Klodowski (Kittanning, Pa.) along with sophomore Adrian Del Bosque (Monterrey, Mexico/IMG Academy) each entered the clubhouse on Friday with a 79 and are tied for fourth-place individually. Junior George Qian (Bettendorf, Iowa/Montverde Academy) fired an 80 while sophomore Nikhil Mohan (Bangalore, India/Canadian International School) shot an 82. Junior Brad Jennette (Pittsford, N.Y./Pittsford Sutherland) carded an 83.

Round two continues Saturday, April 16 as play shifts to Oak Hill Country Club.
