Men's Golf in Second After 18-holes at Guy Kuhn Invitational

(MEADVILLE, Pa.) - The Carnegie Mellon University men's golf team competed at the first day of the annual Allegheny College Guy W. Kuhn Memorial Invitational hosted at the par 72 Country Club of Meadville by Allegheny College.  The Tartans carded a 304 and are currently in second-place of the 18-team invitational following day one of play.

Senior George Qian (Bettendorf, Iowa/Montverde Academy) entered the clubhouse with a two-over par 74 on Sunday with fellow classmate Jordan Klodowski (Kittanning, Pa.) sitting one-stroke behind him after carding a 75. Qian is tied for fourth individually in a field of 103 golfers with Klodowski in a tie for eight.

Senior Brad Jennette (Pittsford, N.Y./ Pittsford Sutherland) fired a 76 followed by junior Adrian Del Bosque's (Monterrey, Mexico/IMG Academy) 79 and junior Nikhil Mohan's (Bangalore, India/Canadian International School) 80.

Day two continues tomorrow with the first group teeing off at 8:30 a.m.
