Chordia Leads Tartans at First Round of The Hershey Cup

(HERSHEY, Pa.) - The Carnegie Mellon University men's golf team opened play on Sunday at the 15-team Hershey Cup. The Tartans as a team are tied for 14th after carding a 322 on the par-71, East Course at Hershey Country Club. The two-day, 36-hole event finds Kenyon College leading with a 299.

Freshman Aryan Chordia (Dubai, UAE/Jumeriah College) led the Tartans with a 78 while classmate Jason Li (Sewickley, Pa./Sewickley Academy) sits on the board with an 80.

Senior Nikhil Mohan (Bangalore, India/Canadian International School) is one stroke behind Li with an 81. Freshman Jason Folker (Lake Forest, Ill.) carded an 83 and senior Adrian Del Bosque (Monterrey, Mexico/IMG Academy) ended play on Sunday with an 85.

Carnegie Mellon had one individual enter the invitational, as freshman Trevor Arashiro (Honolulu, Hawaii/Iolani) shot an 82.
