Men's Golf Continues Play at Golfweek DIII Fall Invite

(SANDESTIN, Fla.) – The Carnegie Mellon University men's golf team continued play at the second day of the 2018 Golfweek Division III Fall Invitational on Monday. The Tartans are currently tied for 11th in a field of 18 teams after 36-holes of play with a two-round total of 591 (285-306). The three-day event is being played on the 6,659-yard, par-71 Raven Golf Club in Sandestin, Florida.

Freshman William Knauth (Williamsport, Pa./Williamsport Area) entered the clubhouse on Monday with a two-over par 73 to lead the Cardinal and Gray and tied his season-best round. Knauth has a 36-hole score of 147 (74-73). Sophomore Jason Li (Sewickley, Pa./Sewickley Academy) has a 144 (68-76) after carding a 76 Monday afternoon.

Freshman James Pak (Palisades Park, N.J./Bergen Catholic) has a 150 (72-78) followed by classmate Joshua Lim (San Francisco, Calif./Lowell) with a 156 (71-85) and sophomore Jason Folker (Lake Forest, Ill./Lake Forest) with a 160 (81-79).

The final round will be played Tuesday morning with tee time starting at 8:00 a.m.
