Tartans Conclude Play at 2018 Golfweek Division III Fall Invitational

(SANDESTIN, Fla.) - The Carnegie Mellon University men's golf team completed play at the 2018 Golfweek Division III Fall Invitational Tuesday. The Tartans finished tied for 11th in a field of 18 teams with a three-round total of 889 (285-306-298). The Raven Golf Club in Sandestin, Florida, played host to the 54-hole event on the 6,711-yard, par-71 course.

Sophomore Jason Li (Sewickley, Pa./Sewickley Academy) finished his fall season with a three-over par 74 to give him a 54-hole score of 218 (68-76-74) to pace the Tartans. Freshman William Knauth (Williamsport, Pa./Williamsport Area) ended the event with a 223 (74-73-76) while classmate James Pak (Palisades Park, N.J./Bergen Catholic) was two strokes behind with a 225 (72-78-75).

Joshua Lim (San Francisco, Calif./Lowell) carded a 229 (71-85-73) and sophomore Jason Folker (Lake Forest, Ill./Lake Forest) shot his best round of the event on Tuesday, a 75, to end with a 235 (81-79-75).

The Tartans will be off until the spring with their first competition coming at the University Athletic Association Championships March 10-11 in Palm Coast, Florida, at Hammock Beach Resort on the Conservatory Course.
