Men's Golf Continues Play at 2022 NCAA Championship

(HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla.) – The Carnegie Mellon University men's golf team continued play at the 2022 NCAA Division III Championships Thursday carding a 304 on the par-72, 6,744-yard El Campeón Course at the Mission Inn Resort & Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida. The Tartans have a 54-hole score of 891 (+31) and are in fifth heading into the final round on Friday morning with Methodist University leading the championship with an 873 (+13).

Senior Jason Folker (Lake Forest, Ill. / Lake Forest) again led the Tartans with a two-over par 74 in round three and has a 54-hole score of 221 (75-72-74). Folker is tied for 13th individually.

Senior William Knauth (Williamsport, Pa. / Williamsport Area) and freshman Justin Chan (London, United Kingdom) are tied with a 222. Knauth has carded rounds of 69, 76 and 77 with Chan posting rounds of 71, 76 and 75.

Senior Joshua Lim (San Francisco, Calif. / Lowell) will continue play on Friday with a 230 (76-75-79) while classmate Henry Scavone (Birmingham, Mich./Birmingham Seaholm) will enter the final round with a 239 (73-88-78).

The Tartans will compete in the final round on Friday, with Scavone set to tee off at 8:20 a.m.
