Tartan End Jekyll Island Collegiate in Second
(JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga.) - The Carnegie Mellon University men's golf team concluded play at the 54-hole Jekyll Island Collegiate on Sunday firing a team score of 290. The Tartans placed second with a 857 (286-281-290), which is the second lowest 54-hole team score in program history.

How it Happened:
- Freshman David Zhang carded his second consecutive round of under par Sunday when he entered the clubhouse with a two-under par 70 to finish with a 54-hole score of three-under 213 (75-68-70). The freshman placed tied for ninth individually in a field of 150 golfers to lead the Cardinal and Gray.
- Sophomore Justin Chan also recorded his second round of under par on Sunday for the event with a one-under 71 to conclude the event with a two-under 214 (70-73-71).
- Freshman Andrew Wang carded a 216 (71-70-75).
- Graduate student Henry Scavone ended with a 221 (70-77-74).
- Junior Brian Xu finished with a 225 (76-70-79).
