Tartans Place Seventh at NCAA Preview
(Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla.) – The Carnegie Mellon University men's golf team concluded play at the 54-hole NCAA Preview Tuesday at the Mission Inn Resort & Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida. The Cardinal and Gray carded rounds of 287, 291, 293 for an 871 and placed tied for seventh out of 24 teams.

How it Happened:
- Freshman Joshua Wang led the Tartans field of 120 golfers with a 54-hole score of one-under par 214 after carding round of (72-70-72). Wang placed 11th individually.
- Junior Ryan Dannegger played the 54-hole event at even par 215. He opened play with a three-under 68 on the Las Colinas course before carding rounds of two-over par 74 and one-over par 73 on the El Campeon course.
- Senior Andrew Wang fired a two-over par 73 in round one on Las Colinas and then carded back-to-back rounds of one-over par 73 on El Campeon for a 219.
- Freshman Jason Chan finished the preview with a 224 (74-74-76).
- Senior David Zhang carded 226 (76-75-75) over the 54-hole event.
