Webb Receives All-Region Accolade

(KANSAS CITY, Mo.) – Junior Connor Webb (Dallas, Texas/J.J. Pearce) of the Carnegie Mellon University men's soccer team was named to the 2014 NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division III Men's All-Great Lakes Region team. The honor marks Webb's first regional accolade.

Webb led the Tartans in scoring with 22 points and 10 goals scored with two assists. His 10 goals scored and 22 points also led the University Athletic Association (UAA). The junior midfielder recorded four game-winning goals, including two in conference play against Washington University and New York University, which also led to his first All-UAA honor.

Webb's honor marks the third consecutive year a Tartan has been named to the All-Great Lakes squad.

Webb also earned first team recognition by the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) on the Men's Division III South All-Star team.
