Men's Soccer Selected to Play for 2018 NCAA Men's Soccer Championship

(INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.) - The Carnegie Mellon University men's soccer team received an at-large bid to the 2018 NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Championship. The appearance in the NCAA tournament marks the 14th for the program and third under fifth-year head coach Brandon Bowman. The last appearance for the Cardinal and Gray was in 2016.

The Tartans enter the NCAA Tournament with an 11-4-2 mark and will travel to Kenyon College on Saturday, November 10 and Sunday, November 11 for a four-team regional. Carnegie Mellon will join host Kenyon (16-1-2), Maryville College (Tenn.) (14-3-1), and Centre College (14-4-2).

The Tartans will face Centre, winners of the Southern Athletic Association, while Kenyon, winners of the North Coast Athletic Conference, will play Maryville, winners of the USA South Athletic Conference.
