Dziadosz Honored as UAA Athlete of the Week

(ROCHESTER, N.Y.) – Carnegie Mellon University men's soccer senior Alex Dziadosz (Boxford, Mass. / Phillips Academy Andover) was named the University Athletic Association (UAA) Men's Soccer Offensive Athlete of the Week after leading the Tartans to a 2-0 week against UAA opponents.

Dziadosz scored both goals in the Tartans' 2-0 win at home against the University of Rochester to help the Tartans to their first UAA victory of the season. Dziadosz first scored in the 30th minute after Rochester had three shots on goal. He later scored in the second half to cushion the lead.

The Tartans then turned in a 1-0 win at home against Emory University to move to 2-2 in the league.

Dziadosz and the team will be back in action on Friday, November 1 at Washington University in St. Louis at 8:00 p.m. CT.
