Cohen Named to United Soccer Coaches All-Region Team

(KANSAS CITY, Mo.) – Carnegie Mellon University men's soccer senior Elliot Cohen (Solana Beach, Calif. / Canyon Crest Academy) has been honored on the United Soccer Coaches All-Great Lakes Region Team as a third-team selection announced by the association on Monday, December 2. The regional honor is the second of Cohen's career as he was named to the second team last season.

Cohen's honor comes after scoring four goals in 2019 with three assists from his midfield position.  The senior also earned his second All-University Athletic Association (UAA) honorable mention honor this year. He recorded one game-winning goal with all three assists coming in UAA play when the Tartans topped the University of Rochester and Emory University at home on the same weekend.

The all-region honor gives the Tartans a string of eight seasons with at least one member being honored by the coaches in the Great Lakes Region.
