Bamforth Earns Second UAA Weekly Honor

(ROCHESTER, N.Y.) – Carnegie Mellon University men's swimming and diving senior Gabe Bamforth (Cambridge, Mass./CRLS) was honored as the University Athletic Association (UAA) Men's Diver of the Week. The honor is the second of the season for Bamforth.

Bamforth finished first on the 1-meter board and second on the 3-meter board against divers from Kenyon College and New York University at the Kenyon College Total Performance Invitational. His score of 482.70 won the 1-meter while his score of 524.95 on the 3-meter was 2.95 points off the first-place score by freshman teammate Judson Kyle (Austin, Texas/St. Stephen's Episcopal School).

The season continues in January for the Tartans.
