Levine Wins ITA Southeast Regional Singles Championship

(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) - The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Southeast Regional Singles Championship was played at Carnegie Mellon University on Tuesday, October 3 with junior Daniel Levine (Highland Park, Ill./Boca Prep International School) facing freshman Ray Boppana (Boxborough, Mass./Acton Boxborough Regional) for the title. 

Levine and Boppana earned the championship appearance with semifinal wins on Monday, October 2 on the campus of the University of Mary Washington where the tournament was hosted. 
 
In the championship match, Levine defeated Boppana by a 6-1, 6-4 score. The junior will now play in the ITA Oracle Cup with the rest of the regional winners on Friday, October 13 through Sunday, October 15 in Rome, Georgia.
