Levine Named Most Valuable Player of UAA Men’s Tennis Tournament

(ROCHESTER, N.Y.) – Junior Daniel Levine (Highland Park, Ill./Boca Prep International School) of the Carnegie Mellon University men's tennis team was named Most Valuable Player of the 2018 University Athletic Association (UAA) Tournament following his play last week in Florida.

The junior was recognized for his play at first singles. Levine posted a record of 3-0 with all three wins coming over nationally ranked opponents. He started the tournament with a three-set win over James Fojtasek of Case Western Reserve University before downing Erik Kerrigan of University of Chicago and Johnny Wu of Washington University in St. Louis in straight sets.

Levine is currently ranked second nationally and holds a 24-6 singles record.
