Carnegie Mellon University freshman Alex Feies was named University Athletic Association (UAA) Men’s Tennis Athletes of the Week as he helped the 27th-ranked Tartans to a 2-1 record over the weekend against three ranked opponents.

The 22nd-ranked Carnegie Mellon University men’s tennis team faced the second-ranked University of Chicago on Saturday. The Tartans won doubles, but eventually fell to the Maroons after only taking one singles match. This puts the Tartans at 7-5 overall, while the Maroons are at 14-2.
