Bio

Mike Belmonte was elevated to head men's tennis coach in November 2017 after serving as the associate head men's and women's tennis coach since 2015. Belmonte's 16-year tenure with the Carnegie Mellon tennis program began in 2008 as a part-time assistant. He became the program's first full-time tennis assistant coach in the fall of 2010.

The 2022-23 season finished with the Tartans ranked 27th in the nation after a 7-10 dual-match season with a sixth-place finish in the University Athletic Association (UAA) which saw four teams earn NCAA bids.
