Norley to Run in Finals at NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships

(GRINNELL, Iowa) – Junior Owen Norley (Chagrin Falls, Ohio/Kenston) of the Carnegie Mellon University men's track and field team competed at the 2016 NCAA Indoor Division III Track and Field Championships on Friday afternoon at the Charles Benson Bear '39 Recreation and Athletic Center in Grinnell, Iowa, with Grinnell College serving as the official host. The junior advanced to the finals of the mile run after posting a personal-best time in the preliminaries.
    
Norley crossed the finish line in 4:12.67, as his time was the fastest on Friday. He will compete in the finals on Saturday which are set to start at 1:30 p.m. CT.  

Freshman Rai Walters (Westlake, Ohio/St. Ignatius) also competed on Friday and finished 13th in the long jump with a mark of 6.49 meters.
