Walsh Receives UAA Accolade

(ROCHESTER, N.Y.) – Carnegie Mellon University senior Liam Walsh (Gaithersburg Md. / Quince Orchard) was named University Athletic Association (UAA) Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week for helping lead the Tartans to a perfect score at the Allegheny College Classic.

The top place finish was the Cardinal and Gray's second consecutive win this season. Walsh won the race in a time of 20:49 on the four mile course.

The Tartans will compete again at the Paul Short Invitational hosted by Lehigh University on Saturday, October 5.
