Academic Awards

NCAA Postgraduate Scholarships

The scholarship is awarded to student-athletes who excel academically and athletically and who are in their final year of intercollegiate athletics competition. The Association awards up to 126 postgraduate scholarships annually, 63 for men and 63 for women.

CoSIDA Academic All-Americans

To be eligible for Academic All-America® consideration, a student-athlete must be a varsity starter or key reserve, maintain a cumulative G.P.A. of 3.30 on a scale of 4.00, have reached sophomore athletic and academic standings at his/her current institution and be nominated by his/her sports information director.

Cross country and track and field were part of the At-Large field until 2003-04 when it moved to its own category.

USTFCCCA All-Academic Awards

To earn academic recognition each athlete must maintain a cumulative grade point average at or above 3.30 and finish in the top 25 percent of the field at their respective NCAA regional meet.

For a team to be considered for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team award, they must have competed and compiled a team score at an NCAA Regional Meet.  The team must also have a minimum 3.10 team cumulative grade point average.
