Kitahara Receives UAA Honor

(ROCHESTER, N.Y.) – Sophomore Summer Kitahara (Greenwich, Conn./Rye Country Day) of the Carnegie Mellon University women's golf team was named University Athletic Association (UAA) Women's Golf Athlete of the Week for her performance at the Allegheny Invitational.  
            
Kitahara helped the Tartans to a fifth-place showing at the Allegheny Invitational on September 27-28.  Kitahara carded rounds of 80 and 84 to place sixth overall with a score of 164 out of a field of 59 golfers.  Her opening round 80 was a season-best round.
