Susanto Named WGCA All-East Region

(HOUSTON, Texas) – Freshman Nadia Susanto (Irvine, Calif./Arnold O. Beckman) of the Carnegie Mellon University women's golf team was named to the All-East Region team when the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) recently released its 2019 Division III Awards. The announcement came at the WGCA Division III Awards Banquet held at the National Championship in Houston, Texas.

Susanto, who recently was named to the University Athletic Association's (UAA) first team, finished the season tied for the team lead with a scoring average of 78.1 through 16 rounds. She recorded three top-ten finishes this season while posting her highest finish of the season at the Carnegie Mellon Fall Shootout, where she placed third with a 36-hole score of 153.

Susanto becomes the third Tartan to be named All-East Region. Sophomore teammate Charlotte Simpson garnered the accolade a year ago and Summer Kitahara was named in 2016.
