Tartans Continue Play at Golfweek DIII Fall Invite

(MIRAMAR BEACH, Fla) - The Carnegie Mellon University women's golf continued play at the 2021 Golfweek DIII Fall Invitational held at the par 72, 5,5603-yard Baytowne Golf Club at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort in Miramar Beach, Florida, on Monday. The Tartans carded a 299 on Monday and are third in the 20-team three-day, 54-hole event following 36 holes with a 609 (310-299). Centre College leads the field heading into the final round on Tuesday with a 601 (295-306).

Freshman Kaylin Yeoh (Potomac, Md./Winston Churchill) carded a two-over par 74 and leads the Tartans after 36 holes with a 150 (76-74). On Monday, Yeoh eagled hole 13, as she is tied for ninth individually out of 108 golfers. Junior Alexis Sudjianto (Charlotte, N.C./Charlotte Latin School) will enter the last round tied with Yeoh in ninth after firing her second straight round of three-over par 75.

Freshman Sriya Mupparaju (San Diego, Calif./Del Norte) improved eight strokes from her opening round and carded an one-over par 73 and has a 154 (81-73) while classmate Reeya Vasishta (Mountain View, Calif./Mountain View) sits a stroke behind Mupparaju with a 155 (78-77). Senior Nadia Susanto (Irvine, Calif./Arnold O. Beckman) entered the clubhouse Monday with a 78 after firing an 84 Sunday for a 162.

The final round is set for Monday morning at 7:30 a.m.
