(HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla.) - The Carnegie Mellon University women's golf team opened play in the first round of the 2022 NCAA Division III Preview on Sunday in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida. The Tartans carded a team score of 309 and are currently tied for fifth.

How it Happened:

  • Junior Denise Pan led the Cardinal and Gray with a three-over par 75 and is tied for seventh individually in a field of 94 golfers.
  • Sophomore Sense Sangkagoon, competing in her first collegiate round, shot a four-over par 76.
  • Senior Alexis Sudjianto ended play with a 78.
  • The final card to be scored for the Tartans on Sunday was an 80 by sophomore Kaylin Yeoh.
  • Entering the clubhouse with an 81 was sophomore Sriya Mupparaju.
