Tartans in Third After First Day of Tartan Invitational
(FARMINGTON, Pa.) – The Carnegie Mellon University women's golf team opened The Tartan Invitational on Monday with a score of 306 and are in third in a field of 12 teams. The 36-hole, two-day event is hosted by Carnegie Mellon and is being played at the Nemacolin Resort on Mystic Rock in Farmington, Pennsylvania, which is a par 72, 5,656-yard course.

How it Happened:
- Senior Sriya Mupparaju led the Cardinal and Gray with a two-over par 74. Mupparaju is sixth individually in a field of 64 golfers.
- Graduate student Alexis Sudjianto carded a 76 and is tied for seventh.
- Sophomore Nikita Jadhav along with freshmen Cecilia Jia and Emma Wong all entered the clubhouse on Monday with a 78.
'B' Team at Invitational:
- Sophomore Samantha Wang led the Tartans 'B' Team at the invite with a 76 and is tied for seventh individually.
- Senior Kaylin Yeoh fired a 77.
- Senior Sense Sangkagoon shot an 82.
- Freshman Caroline Fixter finished round one with an 83.
- Junior Wenna Zhang carded an 84.
- Competing as an individual was sophomore Ashley Liu, as she fired an 83,
