Liston Named UAA Women’s Soccer Defensive Athlete of the Week

(ROCHESTER, N.Y.) - Carnegie Mellon University junior women's soccer player Katie Liston (Lakewood, Ohio/Montessori HS at University Circle) was named the University Athletic Association Women's Soccer Defensive Athlete of the Week following the team's victory at Brandeis University on Saturday, October 3.

Liston returned to the field for the first time since week one and led the No. 5 Tartans to a 2-0 victory at No. 10 Brandeis. In goal, Liston made six saves against the Judges and recorded her third shutout in as many games played this season.

The Tartans face La Roche College at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in a reschedule game from September 9 before hosting New York University on Saturday, October 10 at 11:00 a.m.
