Three Awarded Prestigious NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship

Carnegie Mellon University football senior Rory Hubbard (Rolling Hills Estates, Calif.) and 2018 women’s soccer graduates Haili Adams (Kirkland, Wash.) and Tori Iatarola (West Dundee, Ill.) have been selected to receive an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship for excelling academically and athletically while showing leadership and commitment to the community. Twenty-one males and 21 females across all three NCAA divisions were chosen as recipients for fall sports.

Carnegie Mellon University women’s soccer junior Camille Williams (Cincinnati, Ohio/The Seven Hills School) was named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Google Cloud Academic All-District women’s soccer team, as announced by the association. The district team is voted on by sports information directors in the state of Pennsylvania.

Three Carnegie Mellon University women’s soccer players were honored by the University Athletic Association (UAA) coaches on Thursday, November 8 for their play throughout the 2018 season in which the team finished 8-8-1. Senior Kaily Bruch (Glenview, Ill. / Glenbrook South), sophomore Taylor Cammarata (Cary, N.C. / Green Hope) and junior Tara Durstewitz (Old Bridge, N.J. / Old Bridge) earned the award for the Tartans.
