Three Tartans Named to All-Association Squad

(ROCHESTER, N.Y.) – Three Carnegie Mellon University women's soccer players were honored by the University Athletic Association (UAA) coaches on Thursday, November 8 for their play throughout the 2018 season in which the team finished 8-8-1. Senior Kaily Bruch (Glenview, Ill. / Glenbrook South), sophomore Taylor Cammarata (Cary, N.C. / Green Hope) and junior Tara Durstewitz (Old Bridge, N.J. / Old Bridge) earned the award for the Tartans.

Bruch and Cammarata were each honored on the second team and for the first time in their careers. Bruch, a forward, led the Tartans with five goals this season, two game winners and one goal in UAA play after starting all 17 games. Cammarata played midfield for the Tartans and recorded her first career goal in the season opener. The sophomore started 13 games this season.

Durstewitz was recognized as honorable mention player after starting the final nine games of the season and all UAA contests. She tallied three goals and the game winner in the season finale against Case Western Reserve University.
