The Tartans move to 8-2-1 for the year and 2-0-0 in UAA play while the Violets drop to 9-3 and 1-1.

Sophomore Stephanie Ramsay (Lake Forest, Ill. / Loyola Academy) was the first goal scorer of the game. She received a diagonal pass over the defense from senior Tara Durstewitz (Old Bridge, N.J. / Old Bridge) in the 37th minute. Ramsay took one touch with her left foot and then beat the keeper to the ball with a chip with her right foot for her first goal of the season.

Adams dribbled to the right and cut back to her left before firing a left-footed shot from just inside the 18-yard box over the keeper for her ninth score of the year and fifth game winner.

The Violets had two shots wide of the net in the 60th and 62nd minutes with their last shot attempt going high in the 86th minute.
