#3 Tartans Play to 0-0 Draw with #24 Cortland

(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) - The third-ranked Carnegie Mellon University women's soccer team hosted 24th-ranked SUNY Cortland on Sunday, September 15 on a warm and clear day. The Tartans dominated the stat category of shots on frame but came up with no goals in their second 0-0 tie against a ranked opponent this season. The Tartans are now 2-0-3 for the season.

  • The Tartans finished with five shots on goal to just one for Cortland.
  • Graduate student Cecelia Dieterich had three shots on goal with two coming in the second half. She also had a shot hit the crossbar in the first half.
