Nicklas-Morris Earns All-America Honorable Mention at NCAA Championships

(GREENSBORO, N.C.) - Junior Emma Nicklas-Morris (Winston-Salem, N.C./RJ Reynolds) scored points for the Carnegie Mellon University women's swimming and diving team on the opening day of the 2019 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships hosted at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Nicklas-Morris placed 15th in the 200-yard IM to earn the third All-America honor of her career in the event. Her time of 2:05.22 in the preliminaries qualified her for the consolation final where she touched in 2:05.90 for her second honorable mention honor which earned two points for the Tartans.

The junior will return to the water on Thursday for the preliminaries of the 400-yard IM.
