Another Top 16 Finish by Nicklas-Morris Leads Tartans at NCAA Championships

(GREENSBORO, N.C.) - Junior Emma Nicklas-Morris (Winston-Salem, N.C./RJ Reynolds) scored her second top-16 finish for the Carnegie Mellon University women's swimming and diving team at the 2019 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships hosted at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, North Carolina, on Thursday, March 21.

Nicklas-Morris placed 12th in the 400-yard IM to earn the third All-America honor of her career in the event. Her time of 4:27.05 in the consolation final gave her an honorable mention honor after she finished in the top eight the previous two seasons.

The junior will return to the water for her final swim of the championships on Friday in the preliminaries of the 200-yard butterfly.
