Kuramoto Named UAA Women's Diver of the Week for Third Time

(ROCHESTER, N.Y.) – Junior Kelli Kuramoto has been honored as the University Athletic Association (UAA) Women's Diver of the Week for the third time this season after her performance at the Western Pennsylvania Invite on Friday, January 27 and Saturday, January 28.

Kuramoto once again led the CMU women's divers with a second-place finish on the 3-meter board and a third-place finish on the 1-meter board at the Western Pennsylvania Invite against Division I divers from Duquesne University. Kuramoto recorded 283.75 points after six dives on the 1-meter board and 292.15 points after six dives on the 3-meter board.

Kuramoto and the rest of the Carnegie Mellon divers will next hit the pool on Saturday, February 4 at Westminster College for the Rich Sentner Diving Invitational starting at 12:00 p.m.
