400 Medley Relay Earns All-America Honorable Mention

(GREENSBORO, N.C.) – The Carnegie Mellon University women's swimming and diving team earned another finals finish during the second day of competition at the 2023 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships on Thursday, March 16. The Tartans now have 36 points and are in 16th place with two days left to go.

The 400-yard medley relay qualified 12th for the consolation finals with a preliminary round time of 3:47.40, good enough for a new school record. In the finals, senior Tiffany Tseng, freshman Audrey Lambert, freshman Savannah Xu, and freshman Eliana Szabo touched fifth in their heat for 13th place in 3:48.04.

Notes

  • The All-America Honorable Mention performance by the 400-yard medley relay is the fourth in program history for the event.
