Top Singles Players to Compete for NCAA Women’s Tennis Championship

(INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.) - The Carnegie Mellon University women's tennis team will have two players compete at the 2016 NCAA Women's Tennis Singles and Doubles Championships hosted by Kalamazoo College in Kalamazoo, Michigan from May 26-28. Senior Brooke Tsu (Hillsborough, Calif./Burlingame) and junior Nicholle Torres (Weston, Fla./Great Neck South) were selected to the tournament for their play throughout the season.

Both Tsu and Torres will be making their first appearance at the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships after playing first and second singles, respectively, for the Tartans this year. Tsu tallied a 17-10 singles record and is ranked sixth in the Atlantic South. Torres posted a 17-6 record and is ranked eighth in the Atlantic South.
