(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) – The Carnegie Mellon University women's tennis team will participate in the 2018 Hall of Fame Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Grass Court Invitational on September 14-16 in Newport, Rhode Island. The three-day event will be held on the historic Bill Talbert Stadium Court and additional grass courts at the International Tennis Hall of Fame, all of which have hosted many of the sport's greatest tennis legends over the years.

For the third consecutive year, the ITA partners with the International Tennis Hall of Fame to present the Hall of Fame ITA Grass Court Invitational. Todd Martin, CEO of the Hall of Fame, extended eight invitations to Division III teams (four men, four women), marking the first time teams outside of Division I will compete in the Grass Court Invitational.
