Vizelman Named UAA Athlete of the Week

(ROCHESTER, N.Y.) - Carnegie Mellon University women's tennis senior Jamie Vizelman (Highland Heights, Ohio/Mayfield) was honored as the University Athletic Association (UAA) Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week for her showing against Walsh University on Friday, October 5.

Vizelman won her No. 2 doubles match on Friday to help the Tartans to an 8-1 victory against Walsh. Vizelman fell down a set 6-1 before winning the second 6-4 and then the third 7-6 (7-1).

The Tartans will be off from competition as a team until February.
