(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) – The Carnegie Mellon University women's tennis team hosted Denison University on Saturday, February 18 with the 11th-ranked Tartans topping the 26th-ranked Big Red by a 9-0 score and move to 5-1 for the year while the Big Red drop their first dual contest.

How it Happened

  • Carnegie Mellon swept doubles play with sophomore Zoe Angell and sophomore Sarah Yang winning first at three doubles, 8-2.
  • Sophomore Crystal Zhou made it 4-0 with a 6-2, 6-1 win at third singles.
  • Angell earned match point at fifth singles with a 6-4, 6-1 victory.
