Tartans Rack Up USTFCCCA All-Academic Team Award

(NEW ORLEANS, La.) - The U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the women's 2014 Division III All-Academic Track & Field Teams and Carnegie Mellon University was included on the list. A total of 158 institutions earned the distinction as a result of a cumulative team GPA of 3.1 or better.

The women's track and field team achieved a team GPA of 3.42 for the 2013-2014 school year to earn a place on the All-Academic team.

In addition to the team earning the award, senior Jacqueline Guevel (Dallas, Texas/The Hockaday School) was named to the team individually. Guevel qualified for the award by achieving a cumulative GPA of 3.64 while finishing the outdoor season ranked 33rd in the 400-meter hurdles.
